A Letter that Changed My Life

I was born a year and a half after Martin Luther King Jr. spent time in a Birmingham city jail. Ironically, I do not recall learning about him in school. I was 45 when I read his “Letter from Birmingham Jail” and it changed the course of my life and influenced my choice of graduate studies in San Diego. If you’ve never read it, I hope you will today.
