Raised in Minnesota, Julie currently resides in Ocean Beach, San Diego with her spouse, Larry.

Her vocational passion is to help people make connections and learn in ways that broaden their worldview. Julie believes education is key to boosting self-confidence. Learning any new task works a certain kind of magic and empowerment that ultimately leads to wisdom.

Julie enjoys coaching individuals and organizations, developing curriculum, writing and consulting. Her degrees include Nursing A.S. Normandale Community College, Organizational Leadership B.A. Bethel University, and Peace Studies M.A. Economic Development, Conflict Resolution and Human Rights, University of San Diego.

She loves to explore tide pools at the beach, travel, star gaze and hug rocks.
